Free, nurse-led guidance to help your family find the right senior living — here in Orange County.
Free for families · Founded by a licensed nurse with 15+ years in OC senior care
Senior living placement means having an expert do the hard part for you — finding, vetting, and narrowing down the right community for your loved one. Here's who we are and how we help.
A nurse-founded placement agency, local to Orange County. Our founder, Amy Cole, LVN, spent 15+ years inside senior care — as an assisted-living director and an owner-operator of care homes. We know how these communities really run.
We help you find the right place — assisted living, memory care, or a residential care home. We assess the needs, hand you a short list of communities that fit, tour alongside you, and stay through the move and beyond. Free to your family.
Families across Orange County facing a move for an aging parent or loved one — whether you're quietly planning ahead, or a hospital just told you discharge is tomorrow. Wherever you are in this, you don't have to figure it out alone.
This is one of the hardest decisions a family makes. Most agencies hand you a list and disappear — we stay by your side, from the first call through move-in and well beyond.
We sit down with you and really listen. Medical needs, personality, budget, location, family dynamics. The full picture, not a checklist.
You'll get a hand-picked list of communities that actually fit. Not every place we know of — only the ones we'd send our own parents to.
We meet you at every tour. We ask the questions families don't think to ask. We notice the things you can't see on a 30-minute walkthrough.
Pricing, paperwork, movers, medical records, the timeline. We coordinate it so you can focus on your loved one.
Most agencies disappear after move-in. We stay. We coordinate care, check in weekly, and adjust until the transition is truly settled.
I've been a nurse for fifteen years, and for ten of them I served as a director inside assisted living — running care and operations for communities including Sunrise, Atria, and Continuing Life. I've seen what makes a community truly good, and what never shows up on a brochure.
Today I also own and operate residential assisted living homes of my own. So I understand this world from every side — the daily care, the staffing, and the state regulations that govern it. When a family calls, I can tell them how a community actually runs, not just how it markets itself.
Atlas is the service I wished families had: someone who's been on the inside — clinically and operationally — guiding you through one of the hardest decisions you'll make. Local to Orange County. Always free to your family.
Our service is paid for by the communities we partner with — only after a successful placement. Families pay nothing, ever. You get the same fee-free guidance whether you choose a community we work with or not.
A one-on-one, nurse-led conversation. We hear what's medical, what's emotional, what's logistical.
Three to five communities that fit — never a directory dump or sales-floor referral.
We meet you at every visit. Same questions, same observer, every time.
We know community-level pricing and what's negotiable. Move-in fees, rate locks, care levels.
Medical records, POLST forms, financial paperwork, move coordination, downsizing referrals.
Weekly check-ins after move-in. Care plan adjustments. Real human follow-through.
We've handled hundreds of these. Same-day phone consults, next-day tours, and a placement plan before the social worker calls again. If you're in this moment right now, reach out and we'll help as fast as we can.
Reach a real person 7 days a week during business hours. Leave a message anytime and we'll call you back.
Call nowAmy Cole has truly been a beacon of hope in our darkest times, and I cannot recommend her and Atlas Senior Services highly enough. Her dedication, kindness, and unwavering support have made all the difference in my brother's life and in ours.
I wholeheartedly commend Atlas Senior Services! I am unsure what I would have done without their assistance. My mother, in the late stages of dementia, experienced a severe flu illness over the New Year's holiday, requiring a five-day hospital stay, after which hospice care became necessary. Her hospital experience seemed to significantly worsen her condition. Amy Cole from Atlas then provided invaluable support. She efficiently addressed my needs, arranging in-home care and locating appropriate memory care facilities, all while considering my budgetary constraints. She alleviated a tremendous burden, connecting me with exceptional caregivers and a wonderful hospice provider. Her intervention felt like a blessing during a very difficult time. I highly recommend this service. Thank you, Amy; your assistance was extraordinary! You are an Angel!
I would highly recommend Atlas Senior Services to any family needing guidance. Amy's expertise, professionalism and experience in the field of senior care helped us find the perfect residential care home for our mom. She considered the level of care needed, environment, location, and budget to guide us when making our final decision. In addition, Amy's truly thoughtful and caring personality is always present. Thank you for everything you did for our family!
Yes — completely. We're paid by the senior living community only when a placement is successful, the same way real estate agents are paid by sellers. Our recommendations are not influenced by referral fees: we present every appropriate option, including communities we don't have agreements with.
We're local to Orange County and we tour every community we recommend. Our founder is a licensed nurse (LVN) with 15+ years in senior care — including a decade as an assisted-living director and as an owner-operator of residential care homes — so the assessment is clinically and operationally informed, not a phone-only intake. And we stay involved for 30 days after move-in, which most agencies don't.
Assisted living, residential care homes (RCFEs), and memory care for dementia and Alzheimer's. If your loved one needs skilled nursing, we'll tell you and connect you with the right resource.
Senior care costs vary based on your loved one's care needs, level of assistance required, and the type of community. For assisted living with low care needs, families should expect to budget a minimum of around $5,000 per month. For higher care needs — such as memory care or significant personal assistance — costs can range upward of $12,000 per month or more.
Part of what Atlas does is help you understand exactly what level of care your loved one needs and match you with communities that fit both those needs and your budget. Our guidance is completely free to families.
For urgent discharges we've placed families within 48–72 hours. For non-urgent searches, most families have a curated short list within 24–48 hours of their first conversation with us.
All of OC — Newport Beach, Irvine, Mission Viejo, Laguna, Anaheim, Huntington Beach, Costa Mesa, Tustin, Yorba Linda, and everywhere in between. We tour communities across the county every week.
Many families come to us a year or more before a move. We'll sit down, learn the situation, and check in periodically — no pressure, no sales calls. When the moment comes, you already have someone who knows your family.
